When you combine your building's Traffic Index with any Marketing you have added, you get your overall Promotion score for your business.

You want to reach 100% promotion to maximize your potential customers.

Traffic Index

The traffic Index cannot be altered, so it's important to rent buildings with a high traffic index for your businesses.

Using your BizPhone apps, you can see the building's Traffic Index in BizMan and Voogle Maps

Marketing

Marketing can be used to supplement your Traffic Index to increase your Promotion.

Different building sizes will require different amounts of marketing, so you'll need to find the right combination of marketing for each business.

Marketing is more effective in areas with more Working Class citizens, such as Industry City, Lower Manhattan and Garment District. You will need more marketing in higher-end areas like Midtown.
